The Teton Boulder Project is a nonprofit, volunteer effort to build a bouldering park near downtown Jackson, WY. The bouldering area will commemorate the role of the Tetons and Teton climbers in mountaineering history, as well as enhance the community atmosphere of the park by giving residents and passers-by a place to climb for free in town.

What Is The Teton Boulder Project?

The Teton Boulder Project is a grass-roots partnership between the Town of Jackson, the Teton County Parks and Recreation Department and the Teton climbing community that seeks to celebrate the past, present and future of Teton climbing by constructing a bouldering garden at the base of Snow King Mountain. The project will honor the history of Teton climbing, commemorate the contributions of the pioneers, and provide unique climbing opportunities for locals and guests of all ages.
The Teton Boulder Project’s Mission is:
- To honor the historical role of the Tetons in North American mountaineering.
- To remember Jackson Hole climbers who have died in the Tetons and abroad.
- To inspire children, families and visitors alike with a singular climbing experience.
